I love my purple. Give me anything purple. I'll love it. Unfortunately there ain't a lot of purple in my wardrobe. I gotta add more purple to my collection!

Few months back, I longed and prayed for the upcoming part of my life. Now, I'm scared and nervous. But I know Allah will be with me.

I shall stand true to my own quote in life. Allah will always be with you. With every hardship comes a great rewards.

Let's start a step at a time. Amin!

Salute to all the marathon runners! & good luck for those who are participating in the standard chartered run tomorrow. I know a sum of my colleague are participating in it tomorrow. Whether you are participating in the short distance or the longer ones, I admire you!

Ps: I've always wanted to be a runner but always failed. I always have a reason to avoid running! Haha.

One lesson to be learn from working lab for the past 6 month. Be gracious to the newbie. You once are. Don't complain when they ask for help. You once did.

I found it irritating that the seniors are complaining about the newbie. After all, it's your fault. If proper training is given, the mistake could be avoided. What do you expect them to be ? A pro after a few tries?

I was lucky that my trainer was a really reliable and understanding person. I pity those who don't.

Ever heard of a saying: "respect other the way you want to be respected" ?

Lesson learnt! This is something I should keep in mind for my future endeavors.

The lovely Leia

Meet my angle, Leia. A grey tabby with a persian and a british shorthair breed.The momma of my 4 kitten. The most expensive and high maintenance cat I ever own.

I had her since 2010 and she stole my heart at the first glance. A beauty indeed. MasyaAllah.

Her characteristic depends on her mood.

When we first got her, she's the loveliest kitty ever. She's afraid of every single sound but very playful indeed. After 6 months of being alone, we add Donnie (her mate) to the mix. They are happy indeed. They get along well till today.

Her first pregnancy was a unexpected. She was too young to be pregnant. Her second was too fast. We were planning to neuter her after the first pregnancy but she got pregnant again. Her 2nd pregnancy was terrible. She undergoes cesarean to deliver her baby. She stop trying after the first one was out. But one thing for sure, she's a protective mother!

Her characteristic might changes but she still my feisty angle! Leave her alone, she'll be happy. Interrupt her, you'll be dead. You can only pet her when she ask for it.

She's definitely not the typical cat that you expected.She's weird, but I love her for it.

The journey officially starts now! I'm more than elated to share that I have submit my acceptance letter and deposit the payment for my UQ uni application. Now, I'm waiting for the e-coe to be given before I could apply for visa.

It's definitely a joy to be given an opportunity to study abroad. Yet I'm terrified.

I'm terrified with at the fact that I will need to learn to be independent. I will be apart from my family for a period of time. I never done that! No more kampung trips, momma's cooking and annoying brothers to occupied my days.

Am I ready to go? Totally not! But I'll try my best.. That's a definite.

Pray for my success!

Alhamdulillah! I'm really grateful for the opportunities and mercy that Allah has planned for me. A success after failure is much more humbling than no failure at all. Syukran Ya Allah.

My ladies are late again.

On being short!

I don't mind being called a shorty. I like my petite features. It come with some advantages. Especially when it comes to shopping. Most of the clothes fit me perfectly. The only thing I need to adjust will be the length. And I don't find it troublesome at all. I'm bless to be petite. I'm surrounded with petite people too. Some of my friends are petite & Most of my family members are petite in size.

Shirt with pants/jeans on weekday. Dresses or skirts on weekends. I don't like to layers cloth cause it's always summer in Singapore! Simple yet effective. That's my style.

I have been loving Empties video!

And here's some of mine. I'm glad to say I've finally finish that red bottle perfume! It has been sitting on my vanity for ages. So long that i don't even remember its name. I've also emptied my Boscia moisturizer and serum, the silkygirl BB cream and my clinique dark spot corrector! Hurrah!  Now I can replace it with a new ones. I might even discontinued using some of it.. Let's wait and see! 

22nd!

A great start to 22 !

Received a dozen of birthday message from friends when the clock strike 12. But the surprise kept coming. Woke up with a birthday gift on my vanity and I know who it was from already! Went to his room and gave him a thank you hug while he was sleeping. I don't think he knew it at all. He thought I was jumping on his bed! Haha. He is such an adorable baby brother. 

I gave myself a facial treatment for my birthday and i like it! I wanna do it again. how about once a month?I'm considering. The day get better! Called Kakak and his 6 sons sang me a birthday song! It was so adorable. How cute of them! Even the little Azrul tried to sing. Arrived home and my mom surprise me with a birthday cake. It was sweet of her. I have not celebrated my birthday for years so that was such a surprise. Every one of my family member was there too. It was the best gift ever!

Hauls!

P/s: Items were bought over the periods of 2 months!

Let's start with skincare. I have started using my Boscia skincare set again!! Over these past few months, my skin have been acting weird and I kept having breakout. Himalayan does help control it, so i decided to use Boscia again! It helps calm my skin down but it is super expensive though.

I have always been fascinated by soap and glory range of products. Maybe its the cute packaging and super nice smell. So I decided to purchase their hand creme and make up cleansing cloth! It's super affordable too. That's a plus point for me!

Another comeback items was the Silkygirl powder! I used to be a lover of their powder range but I have stop using it early this year. Now,I have decided to use it again simply because it's affordable and I can't find any better ones. I purchased a BB cream from one of its set too. Silkygirl is also formulated for Asian skin. That's a plus point for me!

Since Eidulfitri is in the next few months, I have decided to stock up on my make up items early. I have started collecting since may. I only purchase an item each month. So far, I have collected 1 MAC lipgloss, 1 MAC lipstick and a Stila pallette! For this month, I'm thinking of an eyeliner. Maybe the maybelline one??

I thinks I should make that as a resolution! I shall only purchase one makeup item per month. That sounds good right? Hopefully I can hold on to it!

Girlfriends

Sila & Purnama are back from Cairo! Hurray! It's time to catch up!

I managed to spend my Saturday (310112) with 3 of my lovely ladies. Rhy just came back to SG from Malaysian for the weekend. Sila & Purnama will be here in Singapore for the next five month before they go back to Cairo. Unfortunately, Huda and Kya were unable to join us. Kya have some wifely duty to perform while Huda was attending classes for her degree.

The first thing I did when I saw my Cairo ladies was to give them a very tight hug. It's been so long! Especially, Nur Sila! It's been a year since I last saw her. Arggh! I miss her so much.

We spend our Saturday catching up at Marina Bay Sands while watching the beautiful scenery and fireworks. Of course there was some shopping and window shopping done. We are ladies, that's what we do best aite.

Hopefully, the other two ladies could join us in our future meet up! Till then, know that I love all of you and take care ladies :))

Its almost a month since I write a proper post.  Well, it was a blessed & blissful month indeed. It was filled with joyful celebration with family & friends. Pardon me if the blog had been abandon. I've been having busy, tight & tiring schedule. During my free time, i would just rest/sleep or simply indulge myself with my current drama addiction! Its 'Pretty Little Liars'. I watched the entire two season within a period of a month. 

Now, I shall some up my the entire month agenda/events with a few pictures!

 260512- The Surprise Pre-wedding party for the lovely Kya.

It was held at Chinese garden & blue elegant picnic was the theme!

She deserve every bit of it.  

28052012 - My parents when to Makkah & Madinah to perform their Umrah for 10 days.

Over these period 10 days, I've been declared as the housewife & rarely update my cyber-social site. It might just be the glimpse into my future. I basically took care of the entire house-whole chores, my 3 brothers and my 6 kitties! Alhamdulillah, I survive and my parents arrived home safely. 

310512 - My last day as an employee at Ecolab Singapore. I've been transferred to Nalco Pacific, a sub-company of Ecolab. Above are some friends I've made throughout my entire journey at Ecolab. It has been a wonderful 8 months. I'll say it was the most relaxing job I ever had. Its been a month since I left Ecolab and I pretty much miss the people there and how convenient it is to my house. Nalco isnt that bad. The associates I work with are very friendly but the place is so inconvenient (I need to wake up one hour earlier) and workload is terrible. There isn't a non-peak period at all. Everyday a busy day! The fact that it may provide me with a better opportunity of growth make me stay.

 090612 - Another celebration of love. A friend of mine is officially engage. She's among a few of the S507 that are engage right now.  Congratulation Alya! May the relationship stays strong till marriage and after. Another friend of mine of got engage a week after hers. Unfortunely I'm unable to attend the reception. Congratulation to you too, Shikin! 

160612 - Its been a while since had our GF date. It was just a simple shopping/window shopping date. I shop while she window-shop! Haha. We don't need a fancy event or agenda for our date. The presence of each other was enough. The catch up moments was the only thing we needs.  It's great to spend a day with you my dear Safwana!

230612 - One of my 6 closest friends was officially married! Congratulation Siti Ruquiyah & Husband, Jafni! They are the first S507 to get married. Yup, they are high-school sweethearts. They are meant to be together. InsyaAllah, until jannah! Thank you for letting me be apart of the joyous celebration. I appreciate it alot! 

240612 - On this date, I should be at my dearest Kya's celebration but I opt to miss it because it was a special day for my family! It was a Father's day cum my father birthday celebration.  Family time will always be great. Memories spend with them will always be cherish. The special high-tea was a treat from my eldest brother. We ate at Carousel@Royal Plaza on Scotts and went to Vivocity to make a purchase for my dearest kitties.  Again,it was a treat from my brother. Yup, he is feeling generous this month! Thank you!

240612 holds another special event for me. Two of my GFs came back from Cairo! Welcome back Nursila & Siti Purnama! I miss you girls. I'm hoping that I can meet the both of you soon. InsyaAllah!

Essay writing has never been my strongest component. I hate it very much. It's a pain in the ass. Literally. I've been struggling with it since primary school till now. & its something thats going to haunt me forever. Help!

It's not my type of genre but it is definitely interesting. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

It's may!

April had been hectic.

Leia gave birth to 4 little cuties but one did not survive. Now I'm left with 3. In total, six cats. People have been asking me whether I'm selling/giving my kittens away. I'm undecided. I'm already fall in love with them. Such a dilemma.

I did not do much shopping or meet-ups on April. I've been spending my money and time on my cats instead. Their checkup, Leia caesarian and foods. The only money I spend on myself was the prescribe medication for my problematic skin and my backup skincare kits.

I purchase himalayan herbal facial pack as a backup kits because I've run out of my Boscia cleanser which I deeply love. It's my first time using the Himalayan herbal skincare line. It's soothing for the skin and does not cause my skin to breakout. I'll say it a cheaper version of the Boscia line. I'll definitely use this again.

On the other hand, my skins is acting really weird this month. My Acne are breaking out like crazy!! I'm not sure why. It might be the prescribe medication or my home environment. My home is undergoing renovation and there is dust everywhere. It's is definitely not the Himalaya herbal skin care though. Cause it started way before I use it. Whatever it is, I hope it calm down and heals. Cause I can't handle any more breakout and emotional depression.

For now, Let's just pray that may will be better. Amin!

Mourning!

I'm mourning over the lost of my 2 day old kitten. I still can't believe it happen. I already had a name for that little cutie. I called it Pandee. I was awaken by that shocking news and I hold it for about 30 minutes before I finally accepted the fact that it was gone. I've buried it near my housing estate. It may only be two days of its presence, but it was a lovely one. Goodbye Pandee. I love you. Pandee: 04.04.12 - 06.04.12.

Right now, I'm just hoping that the other three and the mommy will be save and healthy. InsyaAllah.

Surprising April.

It's been such a surprising April! April earning will totally go to the cute cats I have. There's and addition of 4 new kitties in the house.

Leia had her first kitty on the 4th of April but 3 of then had a difficultly delivering. Therefore, a cesarian need to be done on Leia. Since Leia need an operation done, we decided to spay her too. Her cesarian and spaying was costly. I love her too much to see her in pain. That needed to be done.

But Alhamdulillah, they are all okey now. In total, I have 7 cats! Wow, that's a lot.

I need to save up soon, there will be many check-ups ahead! No more shopping for the next few months.

My Marvelous March!

March was a marvelous month. It is filled with lots of love. I managed to catch up with a few of my SP & Irsyad's friends. I am grateful for the friendship made. Even a short meet up goes a long way.  To every one of you, thanks for treasuring our friendship! I'm deeply bless with your presence. May our journey continues!

MARCH HAULS!

It's time for march hauls! March broke my bank. I've been spending like a crazy girl on march. Now, I'm under great pressure to maintain my budget till the next pay bills in.

 So here's a picture of my march hauls:

1. Lush 3 Step Skin System - My first purchase at LUSH Wisma Atria, Orchard  ! This includes a coalface cleansing bar, tea tree water (toner) & enzymon moisturizer. I've just started using two out of the three products and i'm in love already. There will definitely  be more trips to come. The moisturizer is very hydrating and does not feels greasy and sticky at all. It is among the best moisturizer I've tried so far. The non-alcoholic toner was good too but the smell is a little bit overpowering. Luckily it does not bother me as much. On the plus sides, its in a spray bottle so its easier to apply & the sales girls said that it can be use on frizzy hair too. A multipurpose products will definitely win me over. Skin reaction: none. 
2. Rachel K Colour Cream From Watsons- It is a moderately good items. It acts like a BB cream but claim to have more skin repairing properties. Yet, I'm not convince. I'll give it another months of trial. Product wise: It does not break me out but it will definitely produce a shine over time . So an application of finishing powder is a must if you need a matte look throughout the day. 
3. The Nivea Cell Repair & Protect Body Lotion From Watsons - Unlike the body shop body lotion, this product is much better. Word of advice, the body shop body lotion is a NO NO! Under a hot weather like Singapore, it will melt and leave your body feeling greasy. The Nivea body lotion helps with your uneven skin tones while hydrating it. Just remember, it only work after frequent application. Its not a wonder lotion but I will purchase it again for sure.   
4. Tea Tree Body Wash From The Body Shop - I may not like the body lotion but this body wash is a wonder finds for me. I have been suffering from body acne for a couple of month and this body wash does the trick. I've seen amazing results after few weeks of usage. It helps in clearing the body acne and leave it feeling clean but the smell is not the best. It have a bit herbaceous scents which may or may not be a disturbance. The smells does not bother me at all & I have been stocking up on it. I bought 3 extra bottle from the 2 for 1 sale. This is a product that I will recommend to my friends and family.
5. Boscia Mask From Sephora - I have yet to use it but I do have a great experience from the cleanser. So, I had decided to try this. Especially when I have a $40 voucher from Sephora. I only pay $8 for this item. It's a win-win situation for me. Facial Mask are so expensive! 
6. Fashion Hauls From Forever 21 - These hauls were an influential purchase from my dearest Raihanah. I had not shops for any clothing pieces for about a month until I met her. She succeeded in convincing me to purchase a chiffon skirt in blush  and a  black cardigan. I have to admit it, I love it! Both the items are very comfortable and flowy. I've always love forever 21 but I'm gonna need to ditch it for a time being. 

That's all for the haul! Hopefully I will not spend as much as I did in March on April!! 

P/S: A friend suggest OLAY Intensive Skin Brightening Serum. Should I try it? Let's just wait and see!

Moody.

I've been very moody lately. I don't even know the reason for it. So pardon me for my lack of activity on any social website. I've been abandoning all my social websites account.

Look at this two sleeping poses of my two cats! They are too cute too be true. Their sleeping position are almost identical! My youngest cat sleep like her momma. I call her dusty!

I declare!

I declare myself a skincare/beauty junkies. I've found myself surfing thru the sephora website, beauty blog and watching countless of beauty videos almost every day. If I were to own all the money in the world, my room will be full if those recommended items.

Unfortunately, I don't. Yet I still manage to splurge on a few items on the month of February! Ive bought myself a clarisonic plus from sephora. This is a super splurge item! I'm gonna keep my card under lock and key for the next few months. Luckily Ive received a $40 voucher from the purchase. With that, I manage to snag myself a burt's bee lip balm and a boscia facial cleanser.

My review on these 3 items?

I've just been using the clarisonic for about two weeks now, I'll say it does works as it claims. Just don't expect it to work immediately. It does take time & it might make your skin breakout a little bit. Dont panic, some reviewers does says that this happen. But they also claims that it will get worse before it get better. I did experiences a little bit of a breakout, but it clear up a few days after. With that said, I'm fairly happy the system. Hopefully it progress continues.

As for the burt's bee lip balm! I super love it. Mine is in the grapefruit flavor! Super moisturizing. I would totally recommend it to others.

The boscia cleanser? I've only used it for a day cause in finishing my remaining cleanser. So, I've nothing to say about it. Maybe, I'll review it after two weeks of use.

So far, that's the only splurge done on the month of February. My wish list is growing but I don't wanna spent unnecessarily. So, I've decided to finished up my beauty items/stacks before I allow myself to purchase or try the others. Wish me a very good luck with that!

P/s: I convinced my dearest friends to purchase an escada perfume at sephora too. I feel so guilty for that! I wish I could purchase one too. Super sad! I need to finish up my current perfume before I allow myself to buy another bottle.

Tweet memories!

Saw a tweet by a friend of mine regarding FYP (final year project) and it bring back fond memories.FYP was a big hurdle for every diploma /degree students. It can either breaks you or make you stronger.

Personally, it was a tough time for me. Being the group leader adds extra pressure too. I had countless of sleepless night thinking of problems and solutions. Among the problems that still linger in my memories was the conflict that happen between the member of my group. That was at tough time. Alhamdulillah, everything was okey and the conflict was resolved. I may had a lot of experience from my prior years but nothing prepares me for FYP. I literally needed to juggle studies, FYP and club events at the same time.

A year have past and I'm not here to complain but rather to applaud myself for surviving thru the struggles.

The point is you will always counter struggles and hurdles in your life. Instead of beating yourself down, you must always try to stay positive and optimistic. In every hardship, there's always a solution. You just need to search for it. I survive the hardship and I am still standing strong. Alhamdulillah.

Some words of advise/reminder to everyone out there: Everything happens for a reason & always do your best and Allah will do the rest!

Midnight love!

Currently I'm in love with my midnight blue kitty. Totally adorable and cute! It totally has the best attribute of both the parents genes. As of now, it is my lover!

Natural Beauty Remedies!

Yup! As the title says! Girls will be girls. We may deny it, but beauty always matters. Both internally and externally.

I have a very acne prone - hyper pigmentation skin. Super hard to maintain! I'm gonna admit it, I'm jealous of those girls who have super flawless skin.

I've tried many products but now I'm gonna go back to the basics. Im gonna use natural beauty remedies instead. Especially those which helps to reduce acne and acne scars. I've tried a couple of them. Let me review on some of it:

•Honey & sea-salt combo: it is pretty much my favorite. It really help to reduce acne and moisturizer your skin. It's a good exfoliator too.

• Aspirin & honey: It used to be my favorite before I discover honey and sea-salt combo. It function the same as the honey and sea-salt combo, but frequent usage of this combo can cause dryness to your skin.

Both of the combo helps in reducing scars but I have not seen much different on the acne scar treatment. I have a couple more natural remedies that are still under review. I'll totally review it in the upcoming future.

Your skin need some rest from all the make up and chemical products! Let your skin breath, go natural!

P/S: Routine cleansing is a must ! These are just add-on.

January 2012 favorite moments

My January was filled with love. I've been spending a lot of time with my love ones and I'll say; it was among the best starters!

Among the highlight were : I've received a very surprising news from one of my best friends, had my very first sleepover with my girls, was able to hang out with Amirah & Fadhilah after so long and I've started my mentoring program at my former school too.

I've realize something else too, I've been spending way too much! I should stop spending and save.

Here's some Kitty update: My 1 month old kitten has been very active. Even the mommy and daddy aren't able to handle.

Hopefully, February will be better!

My 2011 !

Let's start! A lot of thing had happen since my last post. Here's a quick update:

I've graduated from Singapore polytechnic with a pretty good result. Currently, i'm working as a lab analyst. I did not continue my studies right after poly because my application was rejected. Yup! Rejected. My first ever major rejection. But it's okey, in life we will always encounter rejection. Having my family, friends & three precious cats helps. I'm bless to have them in my life.

That's about it.

Now, I'll bombard this post picture with my favorite 2011 pictures! It ranges from Tioman trip, poly gatherings, reunions, Eid celebration, USS trips, family outing and my 3 cats!
