University life is not as easy as people say it is.  Ended my exam two days ago. One of the paper was hard, cried my eyeballs! The fact that it was conducted a day after a chemistry paper was even worst. 24 hours to recap all the memorize informations. MCQ really bothers me! I hate the fact that most of the options given were similar. The ideas that I might fail the paper scared me too death. Cried! I have never cried for an exam before. That was the first one! The fact that the module was just an elective adds up to the pressure. I can't fail my Elective! It's definitely not worth it! I really hope that I'm just over-reacting. I've work for it & the paper was long gone. Now its time to Tawakkal. 

Btw, results will be out on the 3rd of July & I will be flying off to Melbourne on that day! Please dont dampen my holiday!  For now, I shall enjoy my chilly Brisbane weather.

Hello World!

Its been almost a two month since I've arrived in Australia. It's been a great journey. Two months & I am missing home already. 10 more month till I will be returning to Singapore.  Being here taught me to be appreciative of what I had at home. Independent life isn't easy. Singapore had pampered me too much! 

Quick Update: Currently,It's mid semester break. Apart from excessive sleeping and studying, Ive made my first video using iMovie. The actual event was dated a few month back. But its never too late right!  Kudos! Btw, Brisbane weather is always unpredictable. As im writing this post, both Mr Sun and the Army of raindrops are having a war.

Random facts!

I love my purple. Give me anything purple. I'll love it. Unfortunately there ain't a lot of purple in my wardrobe. I gotta add more purple to my collection!

Few months back, I longed and prayed for the upcoming part of my life. Now, I'm scared and nervous. But I know Allah will be with me.

I shall stand true to my own quote in life. Allah will always be with you. With every hardship comes a great rewards.

Salute to all the marathon runners! & good luck for those who are participating in the standard chartered run tomorrow. I know a sum of my colleague are participating in it tomorrow. Whether you are participating in the short distance or the longer ones, I admire you!

Ps: I've always wanted to be a runner but always failed. I always have a reason to avoid running! Haha.

One lesson to be learn from working lab for the past 6 month. Be gracious to the newbie. You once are. Don't complain when they ask for help. You once did.

I found it irritating that the seniors are complaining about the newbie. After all, it's your fault. If proper training is given, the mistake could be avoided. What do you expect them to be ? A pro after a few tries?

I was lucky that my trainer was a really reliable and understanding person. I pity those who don't.

Ever heard of a saying: "respect other the way you want to be respected" ?

Lesson learnt! This is something I should keep in mind for my future endeavors.

The lovely Leia

Meet my angle, Leia. A grey tabby with a persian and a british shorthair breed.The momma of my 4 kitten. The most expensive and high maintenance cat I ever own.

I had her since 2010 and she stole my heart at the first glance. A beauty indeed. MasyaAllah.

Her characteristic depends on her mood.

When we first got her, she's the loveliest kitty ever. She's afraid of every single sound but very playful indeed. After 6 months of being alone, we add Donnie (her mate) to the mix. They are happy indeed. They get along well till today.

Her first pregnancy was a unexpected. She was too young to be pregnant. Her second was too fast. We were planning to neuter her after the first pregnancy but she got pregnant again. Her 2nd pregnancy was terrible. She undergoes cesarean to deliver her baby. She stop trying after the first one was out. But one thing for sure, she's a protective mother!

Her characteristic might changes but she still my feisty angle! Leave her alone, she'll be happy. Interrupt her, you'll be dead. You can only pet her when she ask for it.

She's definitely not the typical cat that you expected.She's weird, but I love her for it.

The journey officially starts now! I'm more than elated to share that I have submit my acceptance letter and deposit the payment for my UQ uni application. Now, I'm waiting for the e-coe to be given before I could apply for visa.

It's definitely a joy to be given an opportunity to study abroad. Yet I'm terrified.

I'm terrified with at the fact that I will need to learn to be independent. I will be apart from my family for a period of time. I never done that! No more kampung trips, momma's cooking and annoying brothers to occupied my days.

Am I ready to go? Totally not! But I'll try my best.. That's a definite.

Pray for my success!

Alhamdulillah! I'm really grateful for the opportunities and mercy that Allah has planned for me. A success after failure is much more humbling than no failure at all. Syukran Ya Allah.

My ladies are late again.

On being short!

I don't mind being called a shorty. I like my petite features. It come with some advantages. Especially when it comes to shopping. Most of the clothes fit me perfectly. The only thing I need to adjust will be the length. And I don't find it troublesome at all. I'm bless to be petite. I'm surrounded with petite people too. Some of my friends are petite & Most of my family members are petite in size.

Speaking of shopping! Here's a photo of my KL haul. I bought a full outfit!

Shirt with pants/jeans on weekday. Dresses or skirts on weekends. I don't like to layers cloth cause it's always summer in Singapore! Simple yet effective. That's my style.

And here's some of mine. I'm glad to say I've finally finish that red bottle perfume! It has been sitting on my vanity for ages. So long that i don't even remember its name. I've also emptied my Boscia moisturizer and serum, the silkygirl BB cream and my clinique dark spot corrector! Hurrah!  Now I can replace it with a new ones. I might even discontinued using some of it.. Let's wait and see!
